Default CCM Download Sector

Please donīt forget, that this is a public betatest. Therefore not all of the many new concepts are working perfectly and the civilopedia attached to that mod isnīt completely ready. The AI sometimes still has problems with the path finding of wheeled units. Your experiences and reports are needed for fixing bugs and errors and to find the best conditions for the different world-sizes, governments and overall-gameplay.


Requirements:
- Civilization 3: Conquests version 1.22 or Civilization 3: Complete
- 1,7 GB disk space

CCM Installation Guide:

1. Unzip the CCM main-file file directly to your Conquests\Scenarios folder (usually C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Conquests\Scenarios)

2. Unzip the CCM-biq directly to your Conquests\Scenarios folder

If all is installed properly, your C3C scenario folder should look like this:



By triggering Civ Content in the C3C starting menue and selecting CCM you start the mod.

Here is the first Update for the CCM-Betatestfiles containing the new CCM biq and some corrected textfiles. Please zip the files in the following folders:



The CCM-Betatest biq v.1.1 contains the following changes:

- Chariot-upgrading needs horses: fixed
- East India Trading Company: Changed to correct name
- Early trade for Egypt: fixed
- Spearman for Indo-China: fixed
- Costs for all kind of early swordsmen: Risen from 10 to 25
- Scientist available with Writing: fixed
- Peacekeeper: Range reduced to 226

Civilopedia:

-Entry for settler: changed
-Entry for clan: changed
-Chasqui Scout: Stats manually added
-Entry Theocracy: rewritten
-Entry Enslaver: rewritten
-Entry Supply Shipments: rewritten
-Entries for all kinds of religious communities: fixed
-Link in Coastal Battery: fixed

Pediaicons:

-wondersplash entry BLDG_Temple_of_Blood: fixed

Script:

- "We love the ... Day" changed to "We love our Ruler Day"

The CCM-Betatest biq v.1.2 contains the following changes:

- Alliances taken out of CCM

- Garrisons moved back to Exploration

- Available money shortened

- Research costs risen

- All foot units from muketeer or later: + 1A, + 1D

- WW II battletanks +1 D

- Knight-types: costs leveled

- Nearly all Ships in era 2 or later now can really upgrade
Caravel, Karacke, Galleon, Frigate, Ship of Line,

- Dromon: wheeled flag removed

- Egyptian Settler: 1 Population point added

- Captured unit: reset from slave to worker

- The Internet: fixed


Civilopedia:

- Description about buildings going obsolete.

- The Great Wall: Only China

- Lot of units received the "cannot upgrade message" (but a lot more must be done)

-Lot of entries reworked

Diplomacy.txt: Invisible sentences fixed (thanks Tom2050)

Edited 14th March 2010: CCM biq v.1.2 and textfiles v.1.2 removed (after 119 downloads)

Here is the third update for the CCM-Betatestfiles containing the new CCM biq and some corrected textfiles.

The CCM-Betatest biq v.1.3. contains the following changes:

- Workers and settlers spot invisible units
- Tech Map modifier raised from 450 to 600 for huge maps
- Retreat Bonus lowered (but still higher than in normal Civ 3)


- Monitor added for US
- Schneider75, German77, 152 mm Artillery, BR-2 Mortar , 150 mm Howitzer, 155mm US Arty enabled

Conquistador: Stats changed: Now 4A, but only 1 MV (all terrain roads)
Partisan: 8A, 8D; enslaves to Partisans
Guerilla: 9A, 9D; enslaves to Guerillas
Vietcong: 10A, 10D; enslaves to Vietcong

Unit flag “starts GA” removed: Bowman, Jaguar Warrior, Hoplite, Berserk, Conquistador, Hwacha, Javelin Thrower

Resource Ivory renamed to Elephants and allowed in jungle

Tons of civilopedia entries adjusted.

Here is the fourth update for the CCM-Betatestfiles containing the new CCM biq.

The CCM-Betatest biq v.1.4 contains the following changes:

- Upgrading links for the steam frigate, the German 77, the Schneider 75, and the Fokker D7 fixed

- SPA Wespe: 2 MV fixed

- Turkey now can build swordsmen

Current CCM Betatest-biq v1.6 is attached to post 1 of this thread.

The strategic resource small wonders are fixed and are now buildable. They offer a traderoute (by air) to the palace and need a resource in city radius.

The upgrading from bombarde to cannon is fixed, too.

Shortly after the upload of biq 1.6 an error about the load function of the clipper was reported. This error is now fixed, too. The old biq 1.6 was removed and replaced by the new biq 1.6. Sorry for the two civers who dowloaded the old version of biq 1.6 in the few minures before I could replace the biq. Attached to post 1 of this thread is now the new biq 1.6.

The current CCM Betatest-biq v1.7 is attached to post 1 of this thread and contains the following fixes:

- famous pirates can enslave privateers
- nuclear plant: costs arisen
- buzzbomb and cruise missile: enlarged range
- techs of era 4 are now again as they are shown in the techtree
